Specifications include, but are not limited to: i.Each selected proposer will, no later than December 1, 2020, have acquired, renovated, and made available for lease to high risk COVID vulnerable permanent supportive households the total number of PSH units for which the proposer was awarded funds, such that altogether the City shall have a total of approximately 200 new units of PSH split across two or more locations for use by such high risk individuals. Each PSH unit must meet minimum specifications listed below. ii.An efficiency living unit shall conform to the requirements of the code except as modified herein:1.The unit shall have a living room of not less than 220 square feet (20.4 m2) of floor area. An additional 100 square feet (9.3 m2) of floor area shall be provided for each occupant of such unit in excess of two. 2.The unit shall be provided with a separate closet. 3.The unit shall be provided with a kitchen sink, cooking appliance and refrigeration facilities, each having a clear working space of not less than 30 inches (762 mm) in front. Light and ventilation conforming to this code shall be provided. 4.The unit shall be provided with a separate bathroom containing a water closet, lavatory and bathtub or shower. iii.Housing should meet the adopted local building codes and state and federal guidelines for housing and accessibility. Properties will meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards, minimum Housing Quality Standards as well as CARES auditing standards. Properties could be subject to additional restrictions. Each selected proposer will own, operate and provide supportive services to COVID vulnerable permanent supportive housing for at least 20 years.
