Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. This project consists of the design, fabrication and installation of a radio communications site constructed at the location described on the Site Information Sheets. 2. The vender shall conduct or have conducted any and all required environmental tests, filings, and procedures at the vendors cost as required by the FCC, NEPA, the FAA, the EPA, or the State of Texas. All of these actions shall be completed and TxDOT has approved the reports prior to any work being done related to the construction of the tower. 3. All foundation, structure, conduits, antennas, lighting, electrical, electrical transformers, connection to electrical service, connection to data or phone services, transmission coax lines, grounding, ground management & restoration processes, shelter design, and generator system shall be a part of the project. The completed “turnkey” project shall be a fully functional radio communications site at the described location. 4. As stated within the bidding instructions, the towers must have a lump sum total cost. This is required for final state inventory purposes. 5. Additionally, due to grant funding related requirements, TxDOT requires that an invoice be submitted breaking down the cost of the project in the flowing manner: a. Cost of Tower b. Cost of site install c. Name of company, contact information, IRS tax number, total of project, date started, date completed 6. Also in the bidding instructions, each drilled shaft foundation diameter requires a unit price per lineal foot. This value may be used additive or deductive as required by the final foundation design determined by TxDOT.
