1. Provision of services by a Licensed Psychologist familiar with duties specific to law enforcement roles. 2. Pre-employment psychological screening for: o Detention Officers o Law Enforcement Officers o Communications Officers 3. Psychological evaluations following officer-involved weapon discharge incidents. 4. Demonstrated knowledge of the latest research and standards in pre- and post-employment psychological assessments for law enforcement, detention, and communications officers. 5. Administration and interpretation of psychological tests, including submission of detailed written reports. 6. Adherence to the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures (1978 or amended). 7. Psychological profiling to determine behavioral traits associated with successful law enforcement service. 8. Regular collaboration with designated COUNTY personnel and participation as a team member in the evaluation process. 9. Availability to respond to evaluation needs on a daily basis, unless out of town. 10. Licensed and qualified to practice psychology in the State of Texas. 11. Compliance with: o Texas Administrative Code Chapter 214, Rule 217.1 o All applicable state laws and commission rules governing professional psychological services 12. Post-incident debriefing and psychological wellness evaluations as needed. 13. Certification of psychological fitness using industry-recognized standards and methods.
