Specifications include, but are not limited to: Power washing and re-striping of parking spaces at the Ben Taub Hospital Parking Garage for Harris Health System. The vendor shall maintain a pressure of four thousand (4,000) pounds per square inch (psi) and a minimum of one-hundred ninety (190) degrees Fahrenheit while pressure washing. Vendor must pressure wash all entrances, exits, ramps, stairwell steps, stairwell landings, parking spaces, traffic cycles, ceiling cob webs, horizontal surface areas, and include treatment of oil spots and gum removal. All drains must be sealed to prevent any wash water from being discharged, wash water must be picked-up and transported. Vendor shall be required to provide a certificate of proper disposal for all reclaimed water. Subject cleaning must include removal of gum and unsightly stains from pedestrian walks and pavers, as well as removal of efflorescence from entrance and exit ramp walls (if applicable). All horizontal and vertical exterior surfaces including ramps, pedestrian walks and pavers, columns, spandrel beams and supports, building walls, parapet walls and penthouse walls must be cleaned. The parking garage has one thousand six hundred and fifty (1,650) parking spaces which need to be restriped after completion of the pressure washing. This includes re-striping of all Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) logos, cross hatching, arrows, and stop/yield signs, fire lanes, islands by the entry/exit gates and will include the addition of “RESERVED” to two hundred-fifteen (215) parking spots, re-striping of fire lanes (red color) on both sides of the Ben Taub loop, and twenty-seven (27) parking spaces by the log cabin with thirteen (13) ADA logos. The vendor must use high performance acrylic zone yellow marking paint, except for ADA spaces which must meet the 2010 Standards for Accessible Design requirements.
