Description

Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide environmentally-friendly pest control, such as an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program, every other month (six times per year) for park residence. 2. Provide pest control every other month (six times per year) for park headquarters, group dining hall, and Custodian’s Cottage. 3. Provide pest control service every other month (six times per year) to treat Zaragoza's Birthplace for crazy ants using Termidor® (or TPWD-approved equal) insecticide twice per year and Transport® (or TPWD-approved equal) insecticide four times per year. 4. Provide subterranean termite baiting program: Annual cost to service, monitor, and bait existing Sentricon® Termite Baiting System stations (approximately 145) at chapel, museum, workshop, Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) restroom, and the Custodian’s Cottage. TPWD shall retain ownership of all termite bait stations installed by Contractor upon termination of contract. If not included in cost above, Contractor shall provide a unit cost to retain ownership of each termite bait station payable at termination of contract. 12.1. Provide services to control roaches, common ants, pharaoh ants, fire ants, silverfish, spiders, scorpions, rats and mice for interior and exterior areas to include all exterior perimeter areas located immediately adjacent to the building. Service areas shall include lobbies, break rooms, hallways, storage areas, rest rooms, offices, conference rooms, mechanical rooms, attic spaces, restricted areas, all entries, courtyards, expansion areas, and walkways. 12.2. Provide services to control Tawny Crazy Ants around Zaragoza's Birthplace including all exterior perimeter areas located immediately adjacent to the building using Termidor® (or TPWD-approved equal) insecticide twice per year and Transport® (or TPWD-approved equal) insecticide four times per year. 12.2.1. If Contractor plans to use insecticides other than the name brands listed, Contractor shall submit specification sheets along with bid response for TPWD’s review and approval. 12.3. Provide subterranean termite baiting program using Sentricon® Termite Baiting System, to include the outside perimeter of buildings. Contractor shall monitor, inspect, and bait approximately one-hundred forty-five (145) existing bait stations currently installed in park.
