Specifications include, but are not limited to: CONTRACTOR must provide an Integrated Pest Control Service for rats, mice, possums, bees, wasps, hornets, spiders, scorpions, cockroaches, all types of ants, moths, fleas, ticks, and silverfish plus any other pests not specifically excluded from the contract. Services include a combination of pest monitoring, good sanitation practice education, appropriate solid waste management education, structural deficiency correction education, and pest control treatment measures. Rat and mouse infestations located in burrows in the ground adjacent to buildings are included. Pest Monitoring: CONTRACTOR must provide advisement on good sanitation practice, appropriate solid waste management and structural deficiency correction. Pest Control Treatment: Use of low impact chemicals indoors & outdoors and the most environmentally friendly methods are required to be considered first (baits, traps, gels, crack and crevice materials) in a highly sensitive areas. The use of properly registered pesticides and/or the use of approved devices at scheduled times and at preplanned intervals to provide adequate and acceptable levels of insect and rodent populations suppression at the District premises covered by this contract. Treatment services is extended up to twenty (20) feet from any building or facility excluding athletic fields. Contractor must follow chemical application in accordance with manufactures’ label. Pest Control treatment for termite, fleas, ticks, and other wood destroying insects will be on a per square foot proposal as needed.
