Specifications include, but are not limited to: Frequency • Cleaning will take place for 9 months of the year. March 1 – November 30 . • Restrooms will be cleaned at night with work not to be started before 10:30pm seven (7) nights a week. • Fairview Park’s two (2) restrooms will be the last cleaned on a nightly basis and Old Settlers Park’s one (1) restroom will be cleaned next to last due to evening athletic schedules. • Contract price for “emergency call out” cleaning services for problems that arise after 4:00pm during the week and on weekends and holidays will be quoted separately. These “call-outs” will require a response time of no longer than one (1) hour and be documented for monthly reporting to the Contract Administrator. • Communication procedures for “call-outs” will be established by the City and the successful bidder. • Special events that will conflict with restroom closings will be communicated by the City’s Contract Administrator to the contractor in a timely fashion. Cleaning Requirements All restroom facilities shall be cleaned in the same manner following normal and expected practices and specified work objectives included here. • All fixtures, floors, inside and outside walls, partitions, ceilings, benches, shelfs, urinals, toilets, sinks, drinking fountains, and toilet stalls shall be cleaned using appropriate soaps, detergents, disinfectants, deodorizers, and cleaning solutions. • Cleaning shall consist of sweeping, mopping, spraying, scrubbing, washing, wiping, litter and trash removal, spider web removal, rinsing and excess water removal. • In the case of non-functioning or broken plumbing, the contractor shall try removing any obstuction by use of plungers, probes or grasping device. If a problem can not be corrected, a “closed” or “out of order” sign shall be displayed on the affected fixture for the next day’s opening and a repair request must be turned in to the City’s representative as soon as possible. Details of the reporting procedure will be established by the City and the successful bidder.
