Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Refer to plans for specific modifications or additional scope required per campus location. 2. Please note that Rockwall ISD may select multiple vendors if any one vendor cannot complete the scope in the time allotted. 3. The contractor shall recover any engineered wood fiber (EWF) within the area of the new pour in play and at the completion of the project use the existing EWF to top off the remainder of the play area to remain so that all play areas where work occurs are 100% full at the end of the summer. Any remaining EWF after these areas are topped off shall be discarded by the contractor. a. Prior to excess EWF being relocated to another site the district must be accept the site as topped off and complete. 4. The contractor shall be responsible for the removal and disposal of any spoils, or refuse generated on the site due to the work. In addition, the contractor shall be responsible to maintain the work space in a clean manner, with daily walks to clean the work area of trash, rubbish, and refuse. 5. Colors of poured in place rubber will be to match existing. All colors will need to be approved by the Rockwall ISD Construction Project Manager prior to installation. 6. Dimensions shown are for reference only. On-site dimensions should be taken and confirmed prior to the start of construction. 7. All pavement is required to conform with City of Rockwall, City of Fate, City of Rowlett, or City of Heath standards as determined by site location. 8. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining and paying for all permits from authorities having jurisdiction. 9. The contractor will be responsible to bring the grade at concrete curbs and sidewalks to within 4” (maximum distance) from the top of curb or sidewalk. The grade from the curbs or sidewalks shall not exceed ¼” per foot slope. 10. The contractor will be required to sod all disturbed areas as indicated. If an area is damaged by the contractor as part of the work, the contractor will be required to restore that area (sod, irrigation system, etc) to like new. The area to be sodded will be 10’-0” from the edge or curb or sidewalk as depicted on the plans, unless noted otherwise. a. In addition, if there are any tracks, ruts, or other damage created to get to the site, the contractor will be responsible to return that to the condition it was in prior to the commencement of work.
