Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University is seeking information from vendors who provide Nonresident Alien Tax software that is compatible with Oracle/PeopleSoft. The University is interested in learning what services and reporting capabilities are available, as well as, pricing structure models that correspond to these services. While the University is interested in the following types of services, vendors should also include details of any additional services available through their product. 1) Determine tax residency status for employees, students and international visitors 2) Determine tax withholding rates for payments 3) Calculate substantial presence test 4) Immigration status expiration 5) Maintain up to date federal tax treaties 6) Produce all applicable tax forms for individuals – W-4, Form 8233 with attachment, W-9 and W-8 BEN 7) Communication feature to notify recipients of expired/ incomplete status 8) Produce status reports for University nonresident population 9) Generate 1042-S tax statement 10) File submission to IRS (1042-S & 1042) 11) Reconciling report for 1042-T
