Specifications include, but are not limited to: Maintenance and Repair for Asphalt Surfaces: Work will consist of: 1. Mobile pothole repair, all work must be completed from inside a vehicle that is capable of blowing all loose debris out of holes and crevices with compressed air and, applying asphalt and aggregate materials for repairing pavement defects. 2. Crew members must remain inside the vehicle throughout the duration of the repair. No crew members may be physically standing on the road. 3. Vendor must use approved cationic, water-based, asphalt emulsion product used primarily for chip seal binder, combined with approved grad HMA fine D Rock 3/8 coated. All materials used are to be TxDOT approved by the designated TxDOT representative. 4. Vendor must be onsite within tow hours or less after notification from TxDOT. 5. Vendor must supply all materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete work. 6. HOU = hour Note: Vendor may invoice in 30 m in or 1 hour increments only. All materials used are to be TxDOT approved by the designated TxDOT representative. No boots on the ground approach – removing debris/cleaning/tacking and filling holes will be completed out of self-contained vehicle or vehicles; workers will remain in vehicles while work is being performed.
