Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Sever tree completely from the stump flush with or within two inches (2”) of the surrounding ground surface. B. Minimize danger to surrounding traffic, roadways, structure’s, fencing and cultivated gardens. C. Stump and root system shall be left in place. Removal of roots and stumps by grubbing or other means is not permitted. D. Dispose of debris in an approved landfill or green waste recycling center. HCFCD strongly encourages the use of green waste recycling centers. Remove all tree debris immediately. E. Stack all debris and cuttings neatly near an access point for immediate removal. If there is no area available to stack on County property, contractor must provide the HCFCD representative prior written approval from the property owner to stack on private property. Contractor must remove all debris generated from tree removal operations within forty-eight (48) hours, unless otherwise instructed. F. Stack organic debris a minimum of ten (10) feet beyond the top-of-bank when debris disposal is not possible, as directed by the HCFCD representative. G. Confine all materials and refuse generated during operations at the work site until it can be properly disposed.
