• Contractor must be in business as a refrigerated unit repair and service shop for the past five (5) years. • The Contractor must have all the relevant licenses and permits to operate as a shop and comply with all local, state, and federal statutes and shall be an authorized distributor or manufacturer of the product(s) offered or are able to work on and able to receive manufacturer products. • The Contractor shall be responsible for employing only competent and licensed workers skilled in the services which they will perform under contract and trained in specific make and models of SAISD vehicles. • The Contractor shall not sub-contract the labor without written approval of the requesting SAISD Warehouse Supervisor. • Contractor must be in compliance with all applicable regulatory agency standards. • Contractor’s facility must have adequate equipment, safety signs, safety equipment, and all other relevant tools to successfully perform services. • Prior to any work commencing, Contractor will conduct an estimate. • Contractor will only commence services after authorized SAISD Warehouse Supervisor gives an approval. • The Contractor warrants and represents that all services to be provided to the District under this contract will be performed in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with industry standards and practices, and the terms and conditions of the contract. • Most repairs should be able to be accomplished within 15 working days unless previous arrangement is made with the SAISD Warehouse Supervisor (authorized district contact person). • It is the Contractor’s responsibility to return District vehicles in the same condition as delivered. • It will be the Contractor’s responsibility to replace, at Contractor’s expense, all Contractor damaged body and/or mechanical parts or components while repair and services are being performed.
