Specifications include, but are not limited to: A Job Order Contract is a competitive sealed proposal, firm fixed coefficient based price, indefinite-quantity contract to perform work for the University. The contract consists of a collection of proposed institutional facilities type projects. Each project will encompass detailed task specifications encompassing alterations, renovation, remodeling, and major repairs to Texas State structures and properties. Much of the work may be performed during normal operating hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. However, as is typical with educational facilities work, other hours may be necessary. It is also expected that during University break times total project loads may be significantly higher and contractor staffing should reflect these needs. The Contract shall primarily use the current calendar year issue of RS Means Facilities Construction Cost Data and the CostWorks electronic version, with quarterly updates as applicable, as a basis for unit cost.
