Specifications include, but are not limited to:BakerRipley (Agency) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Janitorial Services for our various locations throughout greater Houston Metropolitan Area. We are also seeking comprehensive proposals for our East Aldine Community Center this is the only location that could potentially receive a single location award. Daily Cleaning Specifications 1. Entrances a) Clean with disinfectant and polish door thresholds, handles, push-bars, and all bright-work.  Lobbies will be maintained at all times in such a manner as to give a superior appearance. b) Clean and refill playground entrance sanitizers as needed with sanitizing lotion cannot contain alcohol. 2. Glass Clean all lobby doors and window glass inside and outside. 3. Drinking Fountains Clean with approved antibacterial cleaner and polish metal. 4. Spot Clean Spot clean all walls, door, windows, windowsills, ledges, etc. to remove smudges, fingerprints and splash marks. 5. Restrooms a) Sweep and wet mop floors with Virex Tb. b) Thoroughly clean and disinfect all plumbing fixtures using suitable non-abrasive cleaners and disinfectants. This includes all basins, bowls and urinals inside and outside (toilet seats to be cleaned on both sides), and shower facilities. c) Clean and polish all mirrors and bright-work. d) Restock to capacity, but do not overstock, all restroom dispensers (paper towels, toilet paper, seat covers, soap, feminine supplies, etc.). e) Clean all partitions and hand rails with disinfectant (including the backside of the doors). f) Check all air-freshener dispensers daily including batteries.  Do not use the same cleaning rags on toilets and urinals as are used on other fixtures and surfaces. Mops used in the restrooms cannot be used in any other parts of the building under any circumstance. 6. Waste Containers a) Empty daily and damp-wipe as needed.  Waste containers will be returned to where they were originally located. b) All trash will be collected in a designated area, picked up and hauled off nightly, or taken to a trash dumpster located on site. Trash at Fraga must be removed from the site. c) All boxes marked “trash or “basura” will be collected, broken down, and deposited in the designated trash area. Contractor is to provide labels. d) Designated trash area will be kept in a clean and orderly condition.
