Specifications include, but are not limited to: All work shall be done between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, unless other arrangements have been made with UTSA Associate Director of Housing Facilities or designee. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to complete the project. Prior to painting, contractor shall inspect and repair any holes, scratches, cracks to include scraping or sanding as needed. All surfaces to be painted shall be cleaned of all dirt, grit, grease, mold, mildew, foreign objects, and all damaged paint. Surfaces shall be allowed to fully dry prior to painting. Contractor shall remove all electrical cover plates prior to painting and replace after painting. Contractor shall cover all furniture, floors, countertops, ceiling fans, ceiling lights, windows, window treatments, door hardware with tape and/ or drop cloths. All furniture shall be moved by contractor within room as needed, to include moving of microwaves and/ or refrigerators to paint behind. All sprinkler heads and sounder bases shall be adequately protected by contractor to prevent damage and accidental activation of the fire suppression system.
