Specifications include, but are not limited to: VENDOR PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS: 8.1. The PM’s primary responsibility shall be the day-to-day operation of the service in accordance with the requirements of the purchase order. 8.2. The PM shall be a permanent staff employee and shall serve as a constant primary point of contact for TxDOT. 8.3. The project and waste disposal coordinator shall administer the vendor’s and subcontractor’s services and report progress of services to TxDOT, as needed. 8.4. All key personnel shall be trained, certified, and licensed in accordance with the appropriate requirements for the service being performed. 8.5. Vendor Personnel Safety: The vendor shall provide all required safety equipment and instruct personnel to observe all safety policies, rules, and requirements at all times. including, but not limited to ANSI approved reflected safety shirts/safety vest, safety steeltoed footwear, safety eye glasses, face shield, gloves, and safety hard hats which shall be worn at all times by vendor's employees, subcontractors, or both, in the field. 9.1. Coordinate services through the Hazmat Coordinator or designated TxDOT representative. A list of designated TxDOT representatives involved in the administration of this purchase order will be provided to the vendor upon award of the purchase order (Ref. Para. 23.2.). 9.2. Have an emergency telephone number that is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 9.3. Have available the personnel, equipment, and materials necessary to respond to a request by TxDOT on a 24 hour, seven day week, 52 week year basis. 9.4. Perform all work in a manner that minimizes the possibility of threats to the traveling public, human health, or the environment. 9.5. Pre-load response vehicles with the appropriate equipment and materials. The vehicles shall include: 9.5.1. Pick-up truck: Used for initial response, monitoring, and all site visits where large amounts of equipment are not required. 9.5.2. Trailer, minimum 14 feet: Used for initial response, incident assessment, monitoring, and all site visits where additional equipment is required. At a minimum, the trailer shall be stocked with the equipment identified on Schedule 1 – Pricing.
