Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Requesting proposals for the design, construction and sale of lighting displays for a holiday lights tour. 2) The successful Proposer shall design holiday light displays and elements for display in the holiday lights tour in Community Park in the City of Forney within the budget limitations set forth in this RFP. The design of light displays shall also include the general design and layout of the tour with a starting location for ticketing and the queuing of tram riders. 3) Unless otherwise instructed, the successful Proposer shall assist and provide instruction to City staff for the installation and setup of the light displays in Community Park for display by the Friday before Thanksgiving. The City will be responsible for the removal and subsequent storage of the displays as well as future installations. 4) Successful Proposer must contact the city representative to schedule date of delivery and light installation to allow City to conduct any necessary landscaping maintenance prior to installation. 5) The selected Proposer may provide delivery of the light displays as early as the second week in October for allow for adequate time for the delivery, setup and instruction to City staff. 6) The successful Proposer shall be responsible for repairing damages caused by weather and vandalism. Any repairs shall be made within 48 hours of damage. 7) The successful Proposer shall not transfer or assign these maintenance responsibilities to others without prior written consent of the City department representative. 8) The successful Proposer shall comply with all applicable governmental laws and regulations that may affect cost, progress, performance or work.
