Specifications include, but are not limited to: 9.1. Perform repair services on HVAC equipment upon receipt of an authorized service call from the designated TxDOT representative. 9.2. Obtain approval of the designated TxDOT representative prior to performing work required to correct any problems diagnosed by the contractor. 9.3. Obtain prior approval from the designated TxDOT representative for services requiring multiple technicians. TxDOT will not pay for additional contractors without the prior approval by the designated TxDOT representative (Ref. Para. 7.9.). 9.4. Cover the furnishings and floor area located below the equipment with tarps or plastic sheeting, prior to commencing work. 9.5. Complete all work required by the end of the business day. In the event the work is not completed by the end of the business day, the contractor(s) shall provide the designated TxDOT representative in writing, the status of the work, the reason for delay and the estimated completion date.
