Specifications include, but are not limited to: Furnishing all equipment, labor, and materials and performing all operations required for the repair of approximately 165 ft of river bank damage ensued from Hurricane Harvey. This project includes, but is not limited to, the temporary relocation of an electric power pole in preparation for the installation of steel sheet piling wall along 50ft of the upper river bank using 60 ft deep, coated steel sheet piles and the removal of existing soil and replacement with lightweight fill, geotextile, and crushed limestone base (the depth of removal and replacement is to gradually decrease from 17ft to 2f as per the plans and specifications). The work solicited also involves the installation of 115 ft long sheet piling wall along the lower level of the river bank using 60 ft deep, fully coated steel sheet piles. Cutting of existing sheets at elevation +26 ft and placement of riprap on the river side of the lower level sheet piling wall are also a part of this scope.
