Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected carrier shall provide plan communication materials in both electronic and print versions at no cost to NISD. Print versions should be sufficient to market the product to approximately 11,000 employees in various work locations throughout NISD. NISD generally conducts the annual open enrollment over a 3 to 4 week period in October of each year. Enrollment events are conducted daily at locations throughout the District. The successful bidder’s attendance at all open enrollment meetings is required. Whenever possible, attendance by the NISD-assigned Account Executive is desired. In all cases, the representative must be knowledgeable of all plan features, coverage levels, pricing and plan exclusions. NISD generally conducts benefits informational seminars each September during which selected carriers may educate attendees about their NISD offered products.
