Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, supervision, sub-contractors if required, incidentals, services necessary or required to fully complete the work as described herein. The Project consists of: 2.1.1 Warehouse Facilities a) Provider shall receive, inspect, store and assume custody of Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) in a secure warehouse facility. b) FF&E products will be delivered to the designated warehouse facility in four phases: resident rooms, common living areas, office furniture, and outdoor furniture. c) Prior to delivery, GLO/VLB and 828 Design Firm will provide the awarded Respondent with an updated delivery schedule. d) Provider shall provide access to the warehouse facility to GLO/VLB and 828 Design Firm upon request. e) Warehouse location must be within 100 miles from the Home. 2.1.2 Inventory and Storage Services Provider shall provide a shared tracking platform to 828 Design Firm and GLO/VLB Project Manager including proof of receipt, inspection reports, packing slips, Bill of Lading reports, photos of any damaged items, and packaging as warrantied items require. Provider will also be responsible for coordinating any returns or exchanges of damaged items within warranty periods, along with notifying the GLO/VLB Project Manager through-out the process. FF&E products shall be inventoried, tracked and labelled according to the Key Item listed in the Furnishings Packets in Exhibit F, Project Details. GLO/VLB will provide the awarded Respondent with an updated Furnishings List prior to delivery. Monthly storage of furniture, fixtures and equipment to begin upon first furniture delivery to the designated warehouse facility, and continue until the Home is available for furniture delivery and installation. The Home is estimated to be available for deliveries by September 25, 2023; however, this date is subject to change. 2.1.3 Installation Services Provider shall provide White Glove transport and installation of furniture to the newly constructed Home according to schedule coordinated by GLO/VLB and 828 Design. a) There is no pre-proposal site visit availability. b) Delivery Location: Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home, 2200 Joe B Rushing Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76119. c) There is no loading dock. Lift gates are required for delivery. d) Provider is responsible for furnishing and delivering items in the specified quantities. If there are any discrepancies between floor plans and room by room information, Provider shall submit the question for clarification. e) Provider shall tag all items with room number and furniture ID. f) Some furniture assembly will be required. g) Provider shall provide one point of contact for the project who will coordinate installation, delivery, etc. with the design team and Texas General Land Office. h) Estimated facility construction substantial completion is late September 2023. Date of furniture installation to be coordinated with GLO/VLB’s representative for in the Fall of 2023. All installation schedules will be coordinated with the designated GLO/VLB representative. i) All flooring must be covered and protected during installation of furniture. j) Provider is responsible for any damage to walls, ceilings, floors, etc. that are damaged as a result of furniture delivery and installation. k) Provider is responsible for the removal of all packaging materials.
