• Flooring services as required for the San Angelo State Supported Living Center (SAgSSLC) located at 11640 Hwy 87 N, Carlsbad, Texas. Awarded contractor shall furnish all labor tools, transportation, equipment materials and supplies as required to complete the Flooring installation on building 517 Administration. This encompasses the first floor and stairs of 1855 sq ft. Job to include stair well landings. Awarded contractor shall supply flooring materials as requested by the facility to complete jobs. Awarded contractor shall be responsible for supervision, clean up and disposal, and must have all applicable licenses, permits and insurance coverage. Contractor to leave remaining materials after job. • SERVICE REQUIREMENTS: Work shall include removing all carpet, patching any wooden flooring with material from secondary building location, sanding and staining with a polyurethane stain chosen by Administration. Placing transitions as needed at step down to concrete section. Placing LVP at concrete section, all new base and round molding where needed to cover gaps. When carpet is removed and if the wooden floor is beyond repairs. Another option within current budget will be addressed at that time to be considered. Other items to be quoted prior to authorization on completing installation. Contractor to provide dust collection during sanding. Facility will remove all items/furniture prior to contractors start. All work shall be located in Carlsbad, Texas at SAgSSLC. • The Contractor shall be responsible for all work related to flooring prep and installation. Contractor to dust all fixtures, walls, paintings as needed if dust is not collected during refinishing process. Contractor may be required to sweep/mop area prior to acceptance. • Project Completion Time: Contractor must perform work within timeframe agreed upon by the Contractor and the Owner prior to beginning work. Completion of work no longer than two weeks after start date is set. • Materials: o All materials specified for used by the Contractor or the facility must be approved before commencing work or shipping/delivering and be comparable with existing materials. Installation may include some leveling, repairs, base and other items as estimated. Materials utilized by the Contractor must be of equal or better quality than existing materials. Submittals detailing materials specifications must be approved by the SAgSSLC Designated Representative. o Contractor shall provide any and all materials for jobs completed by them. This includes base, leveling compound, glues, flooring materials of LVP, plank flooring, substrate materials and other floor related items. Colors have been determined for estimation of materials for jobs. The facility may complete other jobs in the building during same time frame of installation.
