Specifications include, but are not limited to: – Fire Protection Equipment and Systems Including Fire Hydrants, Fire Sprinkler Systems, Smoke Detectors, Jaws of Life, Fire Protection Material Treatment, Fire Stop and Fire Barriers, etc. Inspection, Maintenance and Repair; The required services to be provided are fire detection, automatic sprinkler, and fire alarm system maintenance, repair, parts and programming for Denton State Supported Living Center’s (Denton SSLC) Edwards System Technologies (EST3) Fire alarm equipment and devices. Maintenance services shall be scheduled with Denton SSLC after contract award and in accordance with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 requirements and the manufacturer’s recommendations. Once the Contractor identifies worn or defective parts that require replacement, the Contractor shall submit a detailed, itemized cost proposal for the repair services. The cost proposal must be submitted to and approved by the Denton SSLC designee prior to repair services commencing.
