Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Bandwidth will range from 10 Gbps to 100Gbps in increments of 10 Gbps. Specified bandwidth speeds must be both incoming and outgoing. b. The circuits required include access to the Internet and a dedicated transport circuit from the District Data Center to the service provider’s Internet connection. The service provider must provide sufficient bandwidth in their Internet connection to sufficiently service the demand of all who share the circuit. c. All circuits proposed MUST BE FIXED not “burstable” circuits. Circuits that are “burstable” to the specified bandwidth are not acceptable and will not be considered. They may be burstable above the specified bandwidth but they must be continuous to the bandwidth specified. d. The service provider will provide a LC fiber (SM or MM) connection that meets requirements of Federal Communications Commission for C1 services. e. This CSP does not include any cabling or wiring modifications beyond the service provider’s point of demarcation. The district reserves the right to add and/or move the service to a different location during the installation term of this agreement and/or mutually voluntary extensions. The district requires this service to be installed and available for service on July 1, 2021. f. The Internet Service Provider must provide a mechanism (preferable web based portal) by which NEISD can view reports on bandwidth utilization, trouble ticket resolutions and alerts/logs for troubleshooting connectivity issues. g. There shall be no restrictions placed on the District that requires reconfiguration of our existing environment or equipment. h. The Internet Service Provider has an independent CO which is can provide documentation. If the Internet Service Provider is submitted a CSP for both internet access handoffs, the ISP must provide documentation that it has two independent COs and will route traffic accordingly to ensure no single point of failure.
