Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bids are requested from vendors for Lamar University’s College of Engineering for a fNIRS brain imaging system. This item will be used to test human participants, among other applications. The requested hardware must have at least eight source active sources for fiberless optical illumination and at least eight silicon photodiode active detectors for fiberless optical detection. Other requirements for the hardware are the following : a sampling frequency of 75-80 HZ; must be compatible with EEG, tDCS, MEG, fMRI, eye-tracking and other modalities; a fully configured high-performance laptop to operate the system, and a cap. Recording and analysis software is essential. A bid must list access methods (phone, email, knowledge base, etc.) and include installation and training for the operation of the fNIRS. The bid must also include anticipated software updated release schedules. Warranty information and delivery terms and costs must be provided by the bidders as well.
