Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Attend monthly consultant meeting at the City and provide monthly expense reporting. 2.Attend Council meetings, Executive meetings, health fairs, and enrollment meetings as needed. 3.Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the current health insurance program in terms of services provided and cost projections for each fiscal year; 4.Review of funding stop‐loss arrangements; 5.Review and track stop loss reimbursements; 6.Consider possible alternatives such as deductibles, retrospective rating and other methods for improving cash flow and premium savings; 7.Provide coverage recommendations to City; write coverage program specifications; 8.Seek competitive bids for both self‐funded and fully‐insured plans for the City’s health insurance which begins January 1st of each year; 9.Analyze quotations received and prepare side‐by‐side spreadsheet analysis to existing plan and costs; 10.Review policies, certificates, contracts and agreements when received from carrier(s); provide evaluation and comments as necessary
