Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5yr Load Tests 11.2.1 Reports on results of 5yr load tests will be furnished to TWC Contract Administrator (para. 1.3). 11.2.2 Scope of work will include only adjustments to brakes to hold applied load in position. Any major work on brakes or any safety devices will require a quote. Once approved, a PO will be issued before proceeding with work. Main Building: • Make corrections to prevent brakes from banging on all four units • Correct vibration on all four units • Eliminate start roll-back on unit #2 and unit #3 • Adjust brakes on unit #2 and unit #3 to prevent pull through • Adjust doors to fully open on all floors • Correct tram motor vibration • Replace failed TORQMAX F5 drive on elevator #2 with equivalent or upgraded TORQMAX model • Perform 5-year load test on each elevator Annex Building: • Repair or replace car door rollers on unit #1 to prevent shaking when doors are opening and closing • Replace worn car door sill on unit #1 • Shorten hoist cables on unit #1 to prevent counter weights from compressing buffers • Perform 5-year load test on each elevator Trinity Building: • Replace damaged Magnetek HPV900 Series drive on unit #2. Replace with Magnetek HPV900 Series II drive • Adjust doors on all three units to prevent rubbing, squeaking and vibration • Re-plumb car doors on unit #3 to allow them to close evenly • Adjust car door stops on all three units to allow them to open completely • Perform 5-year load test on each elevator . ELEVATORS OUT OF SERVICE: Any time an elevator is put out of service by the Contractor, a printed OUT OF SERVICE sign with the Contractor’s company name on it shall be placed on each elevator hall door.
