Specifications include, but are not limited to: Electronic hand hygiene monitoring solution to reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and improve patient safety. HAIs are a leading cause of healthcare morbidity and a significant healthcare cost. The District seeks an electronic solution that will assist the District with improving compliance in this area without requiring direct personal observation. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Respondent’s solution should provide the following features and functionality, at a minimum: Real-time data reports that are easily accessible Data access that can be customizable for who can access and receive data Dashboard applications that can be configured in multiple ways Network analysis reports Unit-based reports Work group-based reports Individual-based reports Customizable alerts/dashboards/reports Cloud based system Exportable to Excel or CSV, or a documentation printing option Ability to track HAI by integrating with the electronic medical record (EMR) (the District uses Epic) Contact tracing for exposure control/notifications or outbreak investigations Workflow tracing for opportunities to track and trend opportunities for improvement Require little to no hardware installations Evidence-based HAI reduction program Ability to continue to use the District’s existing hand sanitizer dispensers (Purell) Baseline periods to engage staff to the concept/system to promote compliance and employee engagement
