Specifications include, but are not limited to: Required Services Requested by the University: Contractor will provide general electrical maintenance and services to the University of Texas Administration System locations listed in section 5.4.4 that include but not limited to the following: a. Provide general electrical services to the three (3) UT System Administration locations as needed, including, but not limited to: repair, replacement, upgrade, and alteration of existing electrical services. • Each location has a unique electrical system requiring specific expertise. The UTS systems building is a downtown high rise and includes automated building systems. The Bauer House is a residential building built circa 1960. The Police Academy is located on a hilltop in Bee Caves, and at times requires trenching to complete work requests. b. Provide general maintenance and service of complete electrical systems and other associated accessories and components. c. Ensure that all goods purchased for work orders must be included in the submitted proposals. The mark-up percentage of the cost of goods purchased needs to be highlighted on the submitted proposal as well. The cost sheet below includes a field for the mark-up percentage for goods and equipment rentals. • Contractor should use best value procurement practices to acquire goods to be used in the requested electrical services such as getting multiple bids or utilizing State of Texas DIR contracts and/or other Group Purchasing Organizations that are available to UTS. Please include contract numbers on the submitted proposals at the time of work order requests. • Contractor will provide the requested electrical services with proper equipment, supplies, certifications, and/or licenses governed by the State of Texas.
