Examples of drugs to be screened for: Marijuana Metabolites Cocaine Metabolites Amphetamines Opiate Metabolites Phencyclidine (PCP) Synthetic Cannabinoids (#00182) Barbiturates Results to be reported within 24 hours of shipping for screening and 72 hours for GC MS confirmation of positive test Supplies of all necessary collection forms, packaging and supplies to include tamper evident seals to perform testing collection Cost of items and cost to ship items shall be included in price The chain of custody shall remain with The Maritime Academy at Texas A&M University-Galveston, TX Vendor shall refer to samples by number Vendor shall accept credibility of any results as well as financial responsibility of such, that face a legal challenge All positive samples shall be retained frozen by vendor for a minimum of one (1) year so that sample may be retested at Texas A&M’s request Samples shall remain the property of Texas A&M University – Galveston, TX Laboratory shall be certified by at least one (1) of the following: College of American Pathologist Laboratory Accreditation Program United States Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
