Specifications include, but are not limited to: Demolition: a) The existing patient dialysis millwork façade along the South Wall is to be removed and disposed. The general contractor is responsible for removal and reinstallation of the millwork façade. b) The existing RO and DS water supply lines serving the existing dialysis boxes will be disconnected by University Health Dialysis - Bio-Medical Department. c) The existing dialysis drain line are to be removed by the general contractor and salvage for reuse. d) General contractor shall carefully remove the existing dialysis boxes and salvage for reuse. e) The existing solid surface countertops is to be carefully removed/lifted by the general contractor to allow access and/or remove the existing front façade panels. Protect countertop during any demolition and construction activities. f) General contractor shall disconnect the existing electrical power serving the patient dialysis stations and salvage electrical circuit for reuse. Protect during the demolition and construction. g) General contractor shall remove all countertop items and store for reuse and reinstallation. New Work: 1. General contractor shall pre-measure all millwork façade panels. All panels shall be fabricated off-site and pre-made with all necessary cut-outs for the dialysis boxes, electrical boxes, etc. prior to delivery and installation to minimize downtime. New millwork panels to closely match the existing millwork color. Contractor to provide color samples to Owner for approval, prior to ordering material and installation. 2. General contractor shall re-install the existing dialysis boxes at same height and location. 3. General contractor shall reuse the existing electrical power circuits to the new receptacles at all patient stations. 4. General contractor shall provide and install new CPVC acid drain piping as necessary. 5. University Health Dialysis - Bio Medical department will reconnect the existing RO/DI water piping as required. 6. General contractor shall reconnect the existing dialysis boxes drain lines as required. 7. Sanitizing the existing RO/DI water system will be performed by UH Bio-Medical department.
