Specifications include, but are not limited to: Construction Manager at Risk for the Criminal Justice Center Mitigation and Improvement Project for Harris County FEMA Project 4910. The general intent of work to be performed is to restore and mitigate the Harris County Criminal Justice Center (CJC) from flood water damage caused by Hurricane Harvey, primarily at the Basement, First Floor, and Site. In addition to restoration and mitigation work, the project includes improvements to First Floor Lobby to provide more room for security queuing and access to the public elevator lobbies and increase the vertical movement capacity throughout the building. All project work is to be sequenced and phased to meet County’s requirements and allow for use of the building throughout the construction period. This project is Phase 3 of work to restore, mitigate and improve the CJC. Phase 3 project scope will overlap work included in Phase 2 projects which include the Harris County CJC Elevator Modernization Project and the Harris County CJC Floors 2-20 Building Restoration & Improvements Project. All project work must coordinate with these separate contracts.
