Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1 Training A. The Contractor shall provide all employees with a new employee orientation program after being hired and prior to regular assignment. This program shall be based on a curriculum approved by the Department, shall consist of a minimum of forty (a0) hours of orientation training, and shall include: 1. Multiple Needs Offenders, to include the oversight and monitoring of mentally impaired, developmentally disabled and Sex Offenders - minimum three (3) hours; 2. Human lmmunodeficiency Virus (HlV) / Acquired lmmune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) education; 3. PREA; 4. Seasonal Awareness; 5. Security Procedures; 6. Fire and Emergency Procedures; 7. First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); 8. Self-Administration of medication training - minimum four (4) hours for those employees responsible for medication; and L Offender Behavioral Management. B. The Contractor shall provide, at its own expense, all training to staff, and shall provide a copy of its training curriculum in its Operational Plan for Department approval.
