Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful Applicant must deliver trainings that will inform Child Care Administrators about TWC community resources and assessments to help them understand risks and abilities as owners and directors of child care facilities. Child Care Administrators will receive appropriate and effective training materials developed and delivered by experienced service entities. In addition, participants will receive essential advice on how to operate, grow and sustain a business(es). Additionally, participants will gain access to TWC and other state agency resources. Applicants must work with Local Workforce Development Boards (Boards) to create an outreach and recruitment plan to recruit child care directors and owners for program training events, including in-person and virtual training opportunities. Successful Applicants will strategically plan outreach, secure physical training locations to provide training in Texas based on data provided in the Application under Appendix A - FY 2019 TRS Providers by Workforce Board and must justify geographic locations of trainings based on the data provided. The data provided in Appendix A will help Applicants distinguish where trainings will be most beneficial to improve the quality of child care facilities in Texas.
