Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1) Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is requesting proposals for providing Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) services for project 513, District IILE Classroom Renovation FY24. The objective of this procurement is to obtain services from qualified construction managers to manage the construction of the District IILE Classroom Renovations FY24 at various buildings at the following TCCD campus and off-site locations: (a) IILE Classroom Renovations i. Southeast Campus 2100 Southeast Pkwy Arlington, Texas ii. Trinity River Campus 300 Trinity Campus Circle Ft. Worth, Texas iii. Northeast Campus 848 Harwood Rd. Hurst, Texas iv. South Campus 5301 Campus Dr Ft. Worth, Texas (b) NW OWTL Engaged Learning Institute (ELI) Renovation. i. Erma C. Johnson Hadley Northwest Center of Excellence for Aviation, Transportation, and Logistics (NW OWTL) 2301 Horizon Dr Ft. Worth, Texas (2) This project seeks to bring classrooms in line with TCCD IILE Principle as part of the 3G8P program. The basis of the Integrated Instructional Learning Environments (IILE) Principle is to renovate poor and fair-condition classrooms from the traditional format into active learning environments. IILE categorizes classrooms into 4 types: Basic, Provisional, Formal and Formal Learning. This project seeks to renovate 9 buildings with a total of 48 classrooms across 4 campuses (South, Southeast, Northeast, and Trinity River) and one offsite location (Erma C. Johnson Hadley Northwest Center of Excellence for Aviation, Transportation, and Logistics – NW OWTL) according to IILE guidelines and categorization. (3) The project will be phased in two parts – DT IILE Classroom Renovations and NW OWTL Engaged Learning Institute (ELI) Renovation. (4) The NW OWTL Engaged Learning Institute Renovation – Phase 1 consists of the renovation of a conference room into an IILE training environment branded the “Engaged Learning Institute”. (5) The DT IILE Classroom Renovations - Phase 2 consists of the renovation of 47 classrooms to bring them in line with TCCD’s IILE Principle as part of the 3G8P program. (6) While other IDFs which may require expansion could be identified during the programming phase, it is known by the District that (3) IDFs will require expansions as outlined below: (a) South Campus – Convert existing storage room SBUS 1206 A-X into an IDF. (b) South Campus – Expand the existing IDF into the adjacent storage closet, SSCI 1612C-X. (c) Northeast Campus – Provide additional HVAC by adding a point of services air conditioning unit.
