Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Accept all referrals as identified by Harris Health System 2. Verify referred patient’s insurance, including Medicaid and other typesto confirm type of breast pump(s) and lactation consultation services available to patient 3. Maintain confidentiality of all referral information on patients 4. Collect payment from patient’s insurance for breast pump received and/or rented along with any lactation consultation fees 5. Provide Harris Health System with a variety of breast pumps to keep on-hand, a minimum of five (5), to be able to immediately offer to approved patients. The quantity of on-hand breast pumps may increase if usage increases. Vendor will need to provide a monthly usage report, which details the breast pump(s) furnished to Harris Health System’s discharged patients within the previous (30) days. The report must include the breast pump manufacturer, model/item number, and quantity.
