Specifications include, but are not limited to: Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is accepting bids to establish a contract for providing Armed Commissioned Security Guards to protect the personnel and premises at Texas Workforce Commission facilities in the State of Texas, to include a routine physical presence at the following locations in Austin, Texas. 1. The Contractor shall be responsible for the complete performance of all the work outlined in these specifications. 2. Neither the Contractor nor any of their employees shall perform any work at any TWC facility other than the work which is defined in these specifications. 3. Failure to perform any of the obligations of the contract shall be considered non-performance of work and shall result in withholding of payment with possible termination of the contract. 4. The Contractor shall be responsible for the replacement or repair of any TWC property used by the Contractor or its employees that is damaged or stolen due to the activity of the Contractor’s employees. 5. The Contractor shall maintain a business office within the Austin metropolitan area. Proof of address may be required. 6. The Site Supervisor may be required to reside within the Austin metropolitan area. 7. The Contractor shall provide, at no additional cost, a marked vehicle for the roving guard to utilize for performing patrolling duties. This vehicle is to remain on-site at all times. 8. The Contractor shall provide and maintain a minimum of ten - (10) two-way radio devices for communication between guards, TWC Parking Administrator, and TWC Security Contract Administrator. The radios to be used by TWC Parking and Security Contract Administrator are to be supplied by Contractor within two (2) weeks of contract award. 9. The Contractor shall provide and maintain an on-site twenty-four (24) hour cell phone connection for the Annex Guard. The number shall be published for TWC employees to contact the guard at any time the guard is away from the assigned station. 10. The Contractor shall have sufficient amount of guards available for duty at all times in case of absences, additional guard requirements, and emergencies
