Specifications include, but are not limited to: - Location/verification of existing utilities. - Coordinating with Contractors working adjacent to the project limits. - Videotaping of work site prior to construction. - Contractor negotiations with property owners for temporary staging areas. - Construction staking. - Preservation and protection of plant materials and trees, unless specified otherwise on the Plans on a case-by-case basis. - Removal of trees less than 6” caliper including ornamental tree (Crepe Myrtles) are incidental to Bushes, Shrubs, & Trees Clear, Grub and Dispose. - Additional Barricades and Traffic Control Devices including detouring within the project limits to maintain the traffic safety. - Removing asphalt detour pavement. - Repairing asphalt detour pavement. - Placement, maintenance, and removal of temporary pavement for temporary traffic control. - Placement, maintenance, and removal of temporary flexible base for temporary access to driveways. - Maintaining positive drainage during all construction phases. - Removal and/or repair of existing utility lines in any location or in proposed trench lines. - Excavation in rock is incidental to the construction and installation of the related bid items. - Concrete curb for the street and driveway pavement is incidental to concrete pavement. - Coordinating with CPKC Railroad and TxDOT on work in their ROW. - Substituting 5” of non-reinforced concrete for the asphalt detours. - Field adjusting locations of taps, connections, manholes, junction boxes, driveways, ramps, sidewalks, landscape beds and other miscellaneous appurtenances to finished grade due to site changes occurring after bidding of the project. - Installation and construction of storm sewer plugs, caps, concrete collars, fittings (wyes, tees, bends. etc.) and end panels in the proposed storm water pipes. - Fittings (wyes, tees, bends, etc.) for storm water concrete pipes. Such fittings shall match the class of pipes specified in the plans. - Any adjustment of water valve stacks, sanitary sewer cleanouts to finished grades that are not shown or identified in the plans.
