Specifications include, but are not limited to: The MCB addition will attach to the east-side, one-story wing of the existing Museum building with an opening being created in the outer wall so the spaces connect seamlessly. The construction of the addition will involve excavation, slab pouring, and construction of walls and roof. The exterior design will create a strong visual relationship with the existing and adjacent structures. To preserve the historical hierarchy the MCB addition should be shorter than the existing building. Material of the MCB addition will be of masonry to match existing MCB pilasters. The Southern façade will serve as exterior exhibit space to mount art pieces or murals related to exhibits and the College.
