The City is requesting proposals from qualified Vendors to receive materials generated by the Program, with expertise in commingled materials processing. Any Vendor must be a legal owner or renter of the proposed facility, which shall be in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, located a reasonable distance from the City, and possess the required processing equipment to cost-effectively and efficiently receive, sort, process, market, and sell the volume of commingled commodities delivered by the City. The selected Vendor shall accept materials from the City on all City collection days, including holiday make-up days, and accommodate special situations when necessary.
