The Commissioners Court of Comal County, Texas, and the Comal County Sheriff’s Office, have as their goal the establishment of a program that provides good quality Medical Health Care, Pharmacy, Mental Health, and Psychiatric Care Services for the inmates of the Comal County Jail. Further, their goal is to provide such care in a cost-efficient manner, with knowledgeable administrative and clinical professionals, supported by competent staff, working under a health care system that provides all the elements required for recognition as a correctional health, mental, and psychiatric care program that meets community, state, and national standards.
