HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for a service plan for the QIAxcel Connect to cover preventative maintenance visit, part replacements, troubleshooting errors, engineer visits, and technical support. The QIAxcel Connect is a capillary electrophoresis device that is used for quality control for next generation sequencing of clinical and environmental samples. This is an automated system for fragment analysis for up to 96 samples that uses ready-to-run gel cartridges. The included QIAxcel ScreenGel Software analyzes the fragments to provide concentration and size information. a. Service and preventative maintenance for the timeframe of the contract execution date to ensure continued coverage of warranty periods with available renewals for an additional four (4) 1-year periods. b. Unlimited on-site Field Services for QLAxcel Connect • All replacement parts, labor and travel expenses are included. • Software updates included. c. Unlimited Technical Support d. One (1) Preventative Maintenance visit including all Preventative Maintenance supplies per instrument per year. Customer remedial maintenance will be as follow: • Provide telephone support in order to assess the malfunction and if possible, provide corrective solution.
