Webb County is seeking proposals from qualified General Contractors to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for the management of the rehabilitation, renovation and restoration of the historic Farias House located at 409 San Bernardo Avenue - Laredo, Texas, which is a contributing property within the City of Laredo Old Mercado Historic District. The property consists of a one-story 4,448 SF Main building and a one-story 240 SF Storage building, both to be rehabilitated and secondary non-historic structures to be demolished. The restoration of the exterior of the building (to meet the concurrence/approval of the Texas Historical Commission and City of Laredo Historical Commission) and conversion of the interior into the Webb County’s Veterans Service offices, museum exhibit space, associated open spaces, landscaping, and parking.
