Specifications include, but are not limited to: Notice is hereby given that Webb County is seeking formal requests for proposals (RFP) for the leasing of Webb County land designated as School lands by the State of Texas for the purpose of developing and operating wind and/or solar renewable energy projects by qualified companies licensed to design, develop, construct, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission a solar and/or wind project for Webb County on the proposed sites identified in this public solicitation. Successful respondent will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining all applicable federal, State and local approvals, licenses, permits and must comply with all applicable environmental rules and regulations required by the State of Texas required by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), to include all other regulatory State agencies with oversight on renewable energy projects in the State of Texas. Successful respondent will be responsible to coordinate all necessary services, information, and required permits/applications with the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) an independent system operator which includes South Texas with oversight by the PUCT during the course of the renewable energy project(s) from start to completion
