Scope of work shall include the following: • Remove approximately 1,379 old iPerl ¾” water meters and install approximately 1,379 new iPerl ¾” water meters. Meters shall be supplied by the City of Brenham. • Remove approximately 1,310 old iPerl 1” water meters and install approximately 1,310 new iPerl 1” water meters. Meters shall be supplied by the City of Brenham. • Repair or replace anything damaged during the removal/installation process to include meter, gaskets, curb stop, meter box, smart point-pit radio module and cable (City will supply all materials as described here). • Return customer property to like condition as existed before the meter change out. Contractor to supply any materials needed for customer-owned property repairs. • Contractor to remove any and all trash and debris from work site before leaving. • Contractor crew(s)/staff to follow all City and contractor safety and company policies. • Return all City-owned property, rights-of-way, streets, sidewalks, etc. to like condition as existed before the meter change out. • Complete all necessary paperwork and/or data entry for meter change out. • Deactivate all old iPerl meters. • Program all new iPerl meters with City program. • Notify the City dispatcher of contractor work location for each crew/person daily, during location changes, and if contractor damages City-owned utilities or other property. • Working hours shall be Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm. • Notify the City Project Manager of any customer issues even if they were taken care of by the contractor to the customer’s satisfaction. • Notify the City Project Manager of the work schedule and any work schedule changes. • Hang door hangers (supplied by contractor and approved by City) 2 days in advance notifying customers of the upcoming water outage, expected duration, and flush water as needed if cloudy...
