Specifications include, but are not limited to: HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for waste removal services for the Maintenance Department at Texas Center for Infectious Disease. a. The contractor shall provide seven (7) 4-yard bins under this agreement, unless otherwise specified. The contractor shall own the bins and shall distribute and maintain the bins in working order for the duration of the agreement. b. The Scheduled services shall be three (3) times per week. The days of service shall be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. c. Contractor shall provide an additional 20-yard, 30-yard and 40-yard open top roll-off container on an as-needed/on-call basis. d. The Contractor shall replace waste containers damaged by the Contractor at no cost to the Agency. The Contractor shall replace waste containers damaged by the Agency for a one-time charge equal to or less than the price of a one-month rental for the container. e. Contractor shall place the containers in locations agreed upon the Agency representative and Contractor. After waste collection, Contractor shall keep location site of containers clean, neat, and free from debris. f. Upon request from the Agency, the Contractor shall relocate waste containers to a different location on the facility’s campus at no additional cost to the facility. g. The Contractor shall maintain all containers in working condition and ensure they are free of unpleasant odors and unsightly damage to their exterior surfaces. Damaged containers shall be replaced at no cost to HHSC. h. The contractor shall provide weekly collection of refuse for all occupied buildings within the facility. The contractor will accept for disposal Refuse and additional bulk items as defined herein, to buildings that are covered under this agreement. i. The Contractor shall return containers to their original location after servicing.
