Amendment 0004: (see attachments) - Remove the fence requirement of the PWS. Sections 1.2.4, 1.2.5 and 5.5 to 5.6.18 were removed from the PWS. A fence is no longer required. The performance requirements summary table has been updated. An attachment titled 'Questions and Answers - WCF Perimeter Microwave Intrusion Detection' has been added. The proposal due date has been extended to March 4, 2025 at 12:00 pm.
* Due to the last minute change on removing the fence requirment it may still be included in the proposal as an option. The fence is not a requirment for the solicitation
Amendment 0003: Removed the word 'POE' from section 5.2 of the PWS. The updated section states " Alarm monitoring: The fence and microwave detection system shall be handled: Via an INTREPID™ system controller and Through high level interface (HLI) to Identive Velocity and Milestone Xprotect Corporate Video Management System (VMS)."
Amendment 0001 - The solicitation has been updated to include the Attachment 003- QASP. Please see attached.
Amendment 0002 - The solitication has been updated to include the site visit date, update the due date for questions and quote due date
- An organized site visit has been scheduled for – January 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM CT.
- Participants will meet at- Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Western Currency Facility, Processing Center Entrance, 8900 Blue Mound Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76131
- Offerors shall identify all attendees from their respective team no later than January 16, 2025. Participants must have a valid, Government issued picture identification, driver’s license preferred, to gain access for the preproposal Site Visit.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Western Currency Facility (WCF) located in Fort Worth, Texas
requires an upgrade to the existing analog Southwest Microwave system to a digital high-security volumetric
perimeter system and install a fence mounted perimeter intrusion detection system.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials,
supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the removal and disposal of old
high-security volumetric perimeter detection sensors and the installation of updated high-security volumetric
perimeter detection sensors
All requests for questions and/or clarifications related to the RFP shall be submitted via e-mail to
ariel.dillon@bep.gov. All questions or requests for clarifications must be submitted in writing no later than
12:00 PM CST, January 29, 2025. The Offeror shall note in the email subject line the Request for Proposal,
2031ZA25R00014 and “Request for Clarification.” Prospective offerors are cautioned against contacting
Government technical personnel in regard to this solicitation prior to award of this procurement.
Proposals are due no later than 12:00 PM CST, February 10, 2025.
