Specifications include, but are not limited to: completed for Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) facilities. DWU assessed each site to reduce vulnerabilities, to reduce risk and ensure continued security and safety at DWU’s wastewater facilities. The project sites consist of the multiple DWU facilities listed below: • Central Wastewater Treatment Plant at 1020 Sargent Road, Dallas, Texas, • Southside Wastewater Treatment Plant at 10011 Log Cabin Road, Dallas, Texas, • Cadiz Pump Station at 315 Cadiz St, Dallas Texas, and • Select Wastewater Collections Remote facilities For all sites, this includes as assessment of locations for new cameras, evaluation of servers to accommodate existing and new cameras including associated operational systems, software licenses and new console or workstations, as well as evaluation of access control (network, card readers, etc.). At the Southside Wastewater Treatment plant, a new access control network will be provided for the existing controls at the Chlorine Building as well as additional sites such as the lime facility and the administration building. Perimeter fence repairs and/or replacement will also be needed. In addition, at the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, this scope of work includes improvements to the existing railroad spur that provides chemicals to the plant as well as an evaluation and recommendation of existing sulfur dioxide scrubber system. The railroad improvements will have to meet the Union Pacific Railroad standards.
