Oak St Water Line Replacement (Labor Only): x Notifications: The bidder is responsible for providing notifications to residents and businesses in the impacted areas before, during, and after construction. This includes proper communication regarding project timelines, disruptions, and any required permits. x Replacement of old 8’’ cast iron water main with 5,700’ of 8’’ Certa Loc. x Install 26 - 1’’ services then reduce at meter to ¾ x Install 8 - 1’’ service with 1’’ meter x Install 3 - 2’’ service then reduce to 1 ½’’ meter x Install - 11 fire hydrants with valves at main x 3 wet tap 12’’ x 6’’ on c900 x 1 wet tap 12” x 8” on c900 x 1 wet tap 12” x 4” on c900 x 1 wet tap 12” x 8” on concrete reinforced steel water pipe x Kill out old mains x Tie in’s x Install 6” valves x Install 8” valves x Install 2” valves x Install 4” valves x Remove 2 vault x Install 1 vault x Most of job to be done by boring to limit asphalt and concrete repair x Asphalt and concrete repair need to be included in bid and are contractors responsibility to repair x All services and pipe will need tracer wire x Contractor must install grass (same as in yard). Include Labor and Materials in bid. x Must take Bac-t Samples and they must all be negative before tying in water line. x Must notify all residents and businesses of work to be done. x If bidding on project contractor must visit site prior to bidding x Must fill in old line under TXDOT road with flowable fill and cap off lines
