Specifications include, but are not limited to: Suppliers are invited to submit a formal written proposal for the purchase, implementation and ongoing services to the City of Dallas. The purpose of this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposal (RFCSP) is to obtain competitive pricing to purchase a proven, off-the-shelf, standardized, volunteer management system. The software package must be certified to operate with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Win7 network client or single user computers, and Windows 2003/2008, Linux, or Unix network server environment. Further, the software must function properly with both local and remote users. RFCSPs must include all software, hardware, and networking components required or is compatible with existing City hardware. The contractor/proposer shall provide installation and training support services for the City’s staff during the implementation of the system, and 5 years on-going maintenance and telephone support for the proposed application software. The intent is to find a solution that can be integrated with existing IT architecture, other City systems, or a hosted system. The process requires immediate implementation. The City of Dallas is interested in a quality total solution including project management, facilities engineering, training and maintenance, at a cost effective, competitive price.
